Works as advertised!
Not only is it easy to set up, but it actually works! I installed this on a 2000 Toyota Camry with no aux port. I have a bluetooth cassette adapter that’s paired to my phone so I can use the car’s speakers. Running the wires for the backup camera was easy, as the wire itself is super long for my little car, so the only thing I needed to worry about is tucking them away. I used t tap connectors to tap into my reverse light (the positive wire is the red one for my car); once connected, the screen automatically gives me a view of the back up camera when i put it in reverse. I just have to adjust the height of the camera to make sure I’ve got a good angle and good view. The clarity/resolution of the back up camera is pretty good for the price as well.The unit itself is cute and doesn’t obstruct my view very much. It works as well, maybe even better as the expensive screens on our 2021 car. The built in speakers themselves are not impressive at all, but that doesn’t bother me since I am using the car speakers.Once I set up the unit, it automatically connects to my phone without me having to fiddle with it. The unit turns off and on with the car, just like the built in screens that come factory installed on new cars. Once I turn on my car, the unit starts up. When i turn off my car, it turns off as well.So far, I’m in love, though only time will tell how this unit will hold up. But as of right now, i do not regret my purchase and I’m actually looking forward to driving to work tomorrow morning….wait, did i just say that?

Love it!
After setting up the carplay, the connectivity was pretty fast for me! The touch screen isn’t as laggy for me and the quality is like any normal tablet. The features are pretty cool and the sound quality is really great for my Hyundai Elantra. The functionality is pretty simple on the carplay.I will say setting up the camera was not that hard but was difficult if you’re not a car geek. I had to go buy splices from autozone (there like 5 bucks) and me and dad got the reverse taillight and the red wire to splice together. I connected it to the monitor and boom the camera turned on right when i went into reverse! On the manual it says what to do, but then again that’s if you kinda know what you’re doing. There was qr code but nothing showed up for me. In the end i’m glad it’s working now. Also another thing is you’re most likely going to have to drill in your car for the camera.
