PHENOMENAL, WIRELESS, OVER-THE-CHAIR, QUALITY SOUND!
First off, Amazon solicited my review, though I returned this product to them for a refund. Not because it didn’t work well because it’s phenomenal, but because it appeared to me I was sent a used unit when I paid for brand new. So, I decided to order these speakers directly from the manufacturer on the West Coast, and I was given free shipping as Amazon gives. That said, the Audio Fox speakers are phenomenal. My husband, a retired police officer, after many years of practicing on the shooting range in the years when officers didn’t use ear plugs, not realizing the damage it could inflict on their hearing, is now quite hard of hearing. Five years ago, he had purchased a speaker that sat beside his Lazy Boy on a table and worked well for him, but it was too loud for the rest of us. But it was wired and the speaker began cutting in and out. Thus, began my search on his behalf for the perfect WIRELESS speakers. I found them in Audio Fox. They fit over the back of your chair and the sound is adjustable. Each fits close to your ear and you can bring them closer to your ear as your needs require. One thing I love is that the TV can be muted, yet my husband can hear TV through his Audio Fox speakers. I was quite surprised. A tip: On a leather chair/recliner, these can slip around or fall to the floor because of the slick material. I’ve read the reviews of a few people who experienced their over-the-chair speakers falling to the floor. I got my husband a pet cover for his chair on Amazon, specifically for the purpose of holding these speakers over the back of his chair securely. An added benefit he says is that his chair will be warm this winter, since leather is so cold. I suggest if you have a hard-of-hearing spouse you purchase these speakers. You’ll not regret it. We’re more than pleased with ours.

They keep Dad from getting kicked out of his assisted living!
Dad is VERY hard of hearing and he’s used to keeping his TV’s volume at 100. I could hear it, easily, from the driveway when I pulled in. Well, now that he’s moved to an assisted living situation keeping the TV like that just wasn’t an option. The staff set him up with closed captioning but I knew he couldn’t see to read it at all. Enter these speakers. They work and the volume can be really LOUD! Like…. Dad was surprised how loud I could make them.I set them up very quickly using the optical connection on his TV (the analog didn’t seem to work without tweaking). The volume of the speakers stays the same when the TV is turned off and on and the TV volume can be set really low (I didn’t try mute). I think the volume controls are a little too difficult for my Dad to work so I just found a setting I thought he’d like and left them at that. Some people complained that the speakers could fall off the recliner and break so, to stop this, I sewed a couple of straps with snaps onto the recliner cover. The straps hold the speakers in place and the snaps mean that they can be easily removed if the cover needs to be cleaned.Yes. These things are extremely expensive for what they are but, ya know what? They work. And there aren’t a lot of other choices out there that do what these things do. No one wants to wear headphones all the time while they’re watching TV. Just spring for the money and buy these. Take good care of them. Protect them from falling and let your elderly parent enjoy watching TV without blasting everyone else in the house!

Cheap construction. All plastic. Came damaged. Sounds cuts out. Not fit for purpose. I tried sending them back and after over a month the delivery came back to me saying the delivery could not be accepted.Save your money and buy something else, anything else.
