Oh my! These are wonderful!!
Smooth drawing. Beautiful colors and the blending shift from one into another is perfect! They sharpen well (manual hand held sharpener) and the points hold. Good for adults and kids alike. Or for the kid who lives in all of us adults! Have been playing with drawing colorful Octopi lately. These pencils are perfect!! Highly recommend. Planning to buy more as gifts!

Ok, Iâm sold, these things are incredible. Not only do they create an interesting effect, but theyâre actually very buttery and blend extremely well. Other people have said theyâre hard, but I havenât found that to be true at all, they have the same consistency as my Prismacolor pencils, soft, buttery, highly blendable. Theyâre also HUGE, so you get a lot for your money. I also appreciate that one of the pencils gives a brownish color because you can use it to do houses, tree trunks, dirt roads, etc. There are some really pretty colors, but the inclusion of some darker colors makes these pencils very versatile. You could do an entire landscape picture realistically just using these pencils. The price for what you get makes it even better, and the extra thick core means less breakage.

You’d Better Have Talent If You Really Intend To Use These.
If you have excellent drawing talent, are a sketch artist, or are an expert colorist – these are for you. If you’re just average & wanted to have some fun with these, these may still be for you. If not, your mileage you get out of using these will vary. I am none of these things, so mine will probably sit in a drawer.Also, my pencils arrived hard as rocks. All of this “they’re buttery, creamy, they’re like Prismacolor!!!” hype in other reviews does not apply to the set I received. They don’t blend or layer great. So again, your experience may vary greatly.If you just want to experiment & have fun, go for it, but I would not invest in these heavily unless you’ve already got some innate talent at your disposal.
